BUYING SHEEP

Some would say the Father does not make salvation a reality for sinners on the basis the Jesus' decision (and action), but the Father makes salvation a reality for sinners on the basis of their decision. What was lacking and insufficient in the decision (and action) of the spotless Lamb to deem it unworthy of making salvation a reality in and of itself.

These persons should not say, "The Father sent Jesus to make the salvation of all sinners a reality" nor that " Jesus came to make the salvation of all sinners a reality." When I present a coupon to a cashier, the cashier accepts it and applies it because of the validity of that which is presented. When Jesus presents His life, death, and blood to the Father, the Father accepts it and applies it because of the validity of that which is presented. Jesus purchased sheep. Shepherds do not look to the sheep to wait for them to accept the payment of their Redeemer.
