TO KNOW CHRIST IS TO LOVE CHRIST

Can you hear Christ week after week and day after day and the life that is found in Him from God Almighty set forth, and you're still here and you're utterly unfeeling.  You say "Well...there is life."  You may be a stagnant pool, its not living water,  there's nothing that flows, and every so often from the rotting leaves at the bottom of that pool some bubble of marsh gas comes up and burps on the surface.  That's not life, if you're dead we can only plead with the Spirit of God to open your eyes to give you a desire that God would give you life.  Is there anyone here this evening who has at least begun to consider themselves to be dead, begun to reckon accurately with themselves, to go to the root of the matter and to discern....(your deadness, dullness, emptiness)--Pastor Jeremy Walker, Trinity Baptist Church, Montville, New Jeresy, January 21, 2007. "A Plea for Life.  Psalm 119:25"  at minute 41:20.
